How the Production Function Model Reflects the Characteristics of Digital Economy: Overview and Prospect

Abstract: In the context of digital economy, production function model is a basic model tool to study the impact of digitization process on economy development, which can provide guidance for data collection, empirical analysis and policy making at both macro and micro levels. How to reflect the characteristics of digital economy in production function model has become a concern in the construction of relevant models. From the two perspectives of digital technology and digital goods, this paper focuses on sorting through the model settings of introducing digital technology in the product production process and knowledge production process, as well as the relevant literature on the model construction of digital goods production. At the same time, the main application scenarios of various models in the existing researches are summarized. On this basis, we look forward to the improvement direction of the existing model and the application prospects in China.
