Abstract: This paper takes 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta as the research object, discusses the impact of regional innovation ecosystem suitability on innovation performance, and analyzes the role of dual network composed of collaboration network and knowledge network by constructing a moderated mediator model. The results show that suitability has a positive effect on innovation performance, and the collaboration network position has a mediating effect. In addition, knowledge network density positively moderates the relationship between suitability and the collaboration network position as well as the mediating role of the collaboration network position. The conclusions of this study provide theoretical and practical guidance for cities to take their own intellectual capital advantages under the background of regional innovation and seek the center position of collaboration network to improve innovation performance.
