Abstract: The impact of climate change on income inequality has become one of the hottest topics in recent years. Bibliometric analysis is employed in this paper to statistically analyze relevant literature from Web of Science, reviewing the research progress of climate change on income inequality. The literature finds that climate change has exacerbated income inequality both across and within countries, driven by heterogeneity in exposure and vulnerability. Future researches could focus on revealing the long-term effects of climate change, conducting more comprehensive studies on the mechanisms underlying its impact on income inequality, and designing effective policies to address both climate change and income inequality issues.
