惯例演化视角组织创新的实施机理研究——以天地华宇定日达创新为例

摘要:

组织创新已成为企业追求新机会、提高绩效和获取竞争优势的重要途径。为打破组织创新领域只关注创新的截面问题即创新的多维影响因素或归纳一般创新规律性的局面,对天地华宇实施定日达创新的过程进行深度案例分析,从惯例演化视角揭示组织实施创新的复杂机理。研究得出:组织创新的实施是一项深入到组织惯例层面的复杂系统工程;组织创新实施中惯例的演化过程经历已有惯例主导期、新惯例形成期和新惯例固化期三个阶段,且各阶段组织创新行为、参与者认知和行为呈现不同的特点;通过互动和角色扮演促成新惯例的形成是组织惯例演化的关键,也是决定组织创新彻底性甚至决定创新成败的关键等结论。

Abstract:

Organizational innovation has become a key way of pursuing new opportunity, improving performance and obtaining competitive advantages for firms. In order to stride beyond the existing researches that focus only on the horizontal issues of innovation, namely multiple elements of innovation, or its general rules, this research attempts to deeply explore the complicated implementation mechanism of organizational innovation from the perspective of routine evolution, by adopting a case study on the Day-Definite (DD) innovation of Arima World Group Company Limited (HOAU). The results indicate that:the implementation of organization innovation reflects a systematic project referring to the evolution of organization routines; the evolution of organization routines during innovation occurs through a process of three phases:the existing-routine-dominating phase, the new-routine-forming phase and the new-routine-solidifying phase, each exhibiting different organizational innovation activities, cognition of participants and their behaviors. Creating a new routine through interaction and role-play is the key for evolution of routines and also for success of innovation.
