一切为了底线?组织管理中底线心智研究述评与展望

Is It All about the Bottom Line? A Review and Prospects of Bottom-line Mentality Research in Organizational Management

摘要: 底线心智是指以获取底线结果为中心,而忽视组织其他重要事项的一维思维。目前对于底线心智的研究已取得了一些进展,但是缺少关于该主题的系统综述。本文通过介绍其概念内涵和测量,进而梳理其前因、后果及作用机制,对已有研究进行了系统梳理和述评,构建了底线心智研究的整体框架,并指出研究不足及未来可能的研究方向。本文发现,已有研究大多聚焦于探讨西方背景下底线心智的影响结果,对其前因以及中国情境下的影响结果关注不足。因此,本文从中国本土情境下底线心智概念内涵的完善、底线心智结构维度和测量工具的优化、底线心智前因后果及机制的整合、底线心智多层次结果的拓展等方面对未来研究方向进行了展望。本文为深化底线心智的研究和实践提供了重要参考。

Abstract: Bottom-line mentality refers to one-dimensional thinking that revolves around securing bottom-line outcomes to the neglect of competing priorities. At present, the existing literature has made some progress, but there are few systematic review studies. This paper introduces the concept and measurement of bottom-line mentality, and then systematically analyzes and summarizes the antecedents, consequences and influence mechanisms of bottom-line mentality based on previous empirical studies, and then constructs an integrated analysis framework and puts forward some directions of future research. We find that most of the existing research mostly focuses on the impact of bottom-line mentality in the Western context, and pay little attention to its antecedents and the impact in the Chinese context. Therefore, the present paper proposes some directions for future research, including clarifying the connotation and characteristics of bottom-line mentality in Eastern contexts, optimizing the structural dimensions and measurement of bottom-line mentality, exploring more antecedents and consequences of bottom-line mentality, and extending multilevel consequences of bottom-line mentality. This paper provides an important reference for deepening the research and practice of the bottom-line mentality.
