Abstract:

Firstly thirty economic and social development indicators which might affect the competitiveness of service offshoring in India are chosen, and then we use gray correlation method to estimate the gray correlation degree between service offshoring and these factors. Furthmore, after calculating weights of each factors by entropy method, we measure the comprehensive gray correlation degree between service offshoring and the entire factors which represents the whole economic system. Findings mainly include, different rankings and laws among these competitiveness factors in India are discovered, the comprehensive gray correlation between service offshoring and the whole economic system reach 0.7982, which is at the moderate level, and some key factors in the development of offshore outsourcing in India are also found.
