Abstract: Trust is the one of the most important factors influencing the development of sharing economy. This paper aims to explore the combinations and interplay of system attributes, interpersonal attributes and personal attributes in leading to the trust in sharing accommodation. Empirical data are collective via online survey to respondents who used sharing accommodation in China in 2020 with 155 valid responses. NCA and QCA are combined in the necessary condition analysis. FsQCA is employed in the sufficient condition analysis, 5 configurations leading to the trust from guest to sharing platform are identified, and 4 configurations leading to the trust from guest to host are identified. The results reveal that IT quality, reputation and interaction are the core conditions leading to guests’ trust in platform, and guests’ trust in host. There is 1 solution leading to the absence of trust to sharing platform and 1solution leading to the absence of trust to host.
