Abstract: In order for new ventures to overcome the legitimacy threshold and achieve green growth, this paper on the one hand introduces, from the perspective of external organizational field, stakeholders' relational embeddedness and environmental orientation as the mediator and the moderator respectively, which form a moderated mediation model, and on the other hand introduces, from the perspective of internal organizational behavior, resource bricolage as the moderator to reveal the mechanisms between eco-innovation and new venture legitimacy. Hierarchical regression and bootstrap are adopted to conduct empirical research according to the survey data of 223 tech small and medium-sized new ventures. Research results demonstrate that eco-innovation has a positive impact on organizational legitimacy; stakeholders' relational embeddedness mediates the indirect effect of eco-innovation and organizational legitimacy; stakeholders' environmental orientation not only plays a positive moderating role in the relationship between eco-innovation and stakeholders' relational embeddedness, but also moderates the mediating role of stakeholders' relational embeddedness in the relationship between eco-innovation and organizational legitimacy. In addition, resource bricolage positively regulates the relationship between eco-innovation and organizational legitimacy.
